Printed Aluminium and sterling silver heart earrings - Pink

Hand painted and hand crafted Aluminium/sterling silver drop earrings.

These earrings are made with hand dyed/painted aluminium and sterling silver hook ear wires.

The hand pierced aluminium hearts have a slight curve and have been hand painted in a cerise pink.

Size- approximate overall drop is 2.5 cm. The width of the hearts at the widest point is approximately 1.6 cm.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
