Printed Aluminium and sterling silver drop earrings - lilac, purple and burgundy

Hand painted and hand crafted Aluminium/sterling silver drop earrings.

These earrings are made with hand dyed/painted aluminium and sterling silver hook ear wires

There are 2 aluminium discs- the lower/larger discs have been hand painted and printed in a lovely purple and burgundy colour. The upper smaller discs are burgundy. The lower discs have a gentle curve.

Size- approximate overall drop is 4 cm. The width of the lower larger disc is 2 cm.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
