Printed Aluminium earrings - lime and green/blue

Sterling silver and hand dyed/printed aluminium earrings.

Hand pierced and hand painted in lime green, darker green and a hint of of blue. The blue ink has merged with the lime green to make a dark green. The triangle shapes have a slight curve to them.

Size- Approximate drop 3 cm. Triangle is 2 cm at the widest point.

Earring wires- sterling silver hooks.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
