Printed Aluminium and sterling silver drop earrings - Apple, green and blue

Hand painted and hand crafted Aluminium/sterling silver drop earrings.

These earrings are made with hand dyed/painted aluminium and sterling silver hook ear wires.

Aluminium discs- Hand painted with a pattern of soft lime green, sage green and blue. This design reminds me of a horizon/landscape the discs have a slight curve to them.

Size- approximate overall drop is 3 cm. The width of the disc is approximately 2cm.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
