Printed Aluminium and sterling silver drop earrings - Light Teal and Orange

Hand painted and hand crafted Aluminium/sterling silver drop earrings.

These earrings are made with hand dyed/painted aluminium and sterling silver hook ear wires

There are 2 aluminium shapes- The hand pierced triangle shape has been hand painted in a pale teal/turquoise with a strip of darker turquoise along the bottom edge. This hangs below a small burnt orange coloured disc. The triangle has a slight curve to it. Both have been hand painted.

Size- approximate overall drop is 4 cm. The width of the lower larger disc is 2 cm.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
