Printed Aluminium earrings - lime and grass green landscape

Sterling silver and hand dyed/printed aluminium earrings.

The aluminium triangle shapes have been hand painted in shades of green. The pattern created looks like a landscape. The triangle shapes are pierced by hand and have a slight curve to them.

Size- Approximate drop 3 cm. Triangle is 2 cm at the widest point.

Earring wires- sterling silver hooks.

All my aluminium jewellery is created from small panels of hand printed and dyed aluminium. The process can be pretty random, building up layers of pattern in various colours before dip dying and adding dyes to the panel using a brush. Once steam sealed to prevent fading I then select areas of each panel to use in my designs.
